Job summary

Charah Solutions is seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator to support ash management and earthmoving projects. You will load and move materials, operate dozers, loaders, excavators, and support safety standards.

This role requires a valid driver's license and at least one year operating heavy equipment in construction or similar settings. High school diploma preferred; willingness for flexible shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or move materials (ash, dirt, rock, etc.) using heavy construction equipment.
• Drive and maneuver equipment with blades to remove topsoil, vegetation and rocks.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and other activities.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine maintenance needs.
• Adjust controls to exact positions as necessary.
• Learn, follow, and promote all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
