Job summary

Charah Solutions is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to load and move ash, dirt, rock, and related materials using a forklift, dozer, excavator, roller, backhoe or ADT in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, with compliance to all safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of ash management, structural fills and landfills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or move various materials (ash, dirt, rock, etc.) using heavy construction equipment.
• Drive and maneuver equipment over working areas to distribute and level earth or terrain.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and perform routine maintenance.
