Job summary

Charah Solutions Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to load and move materials (ash, dirt, rock) at our Lena, LA site. You will drive and maneuver equipment, coordinate with crew and maintain safe operation.

Minimum one year of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime are required. We offer competitive pay, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience operating heavy equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of ash management, landfills and structural fills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and move materials (ash, dirt, rock) using heavy construction equipment.
• Drive and maneuver equipment with blades to level earth or terrain.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and other activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Must follow all safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
