Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All culture and oversee daily staffing and package sortation operations at the Omaha facility. You will manage a team of handlers and possibly administrative staff, ensuring compliance with FedEx policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include coaching, training, performance management, and implementing process improvements while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as champion for FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize and reward, evaluate and manage staff performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyze performance and implement action plans to improve key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate updates and goals; speak to audiences as needed.
• Develop and administer employee relations strategies and safety programs.
• Train new employees on duties and compliance with FXG policies.
• Mentor and develop Operations Supervisors.
• Adapt to change and lead with urgency while engaging staff.
