Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All Culture and manage day-to-day operations and staff. You will oversee sortation, ensure compliance with FedEx policies, and coach a team of package handlers and administrative personnel.

The role involves planning, directing operations, training, and maintaining strong communications with the workforce to meet daily goals, while adapting quickly to changing needs and guiding staff through processes and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience in package handling or supervisory roles.
• Experience in fast-paced environments (retail, fulfillment center, warehouse, dock).
• Military supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate operational updates to staff.
• Train new employees on duties, safety and FXG policies.
• Mentor and develop other Operations Supervisors.
