Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily package sortation and staff, ensuring safety and efficiency in line with the Safety Above All Culture.

You will hire, train, coach, and evaluate a team of Package Handlers and administrative staff, drive performance metrics, and coordinate with linehaul as needed.

The role requires strong communication, mentoring, and a proactive approach to process improvement in a fast-paced FedEx environment.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience in package handling, supervisory or related roles.
• Experience in fast-paced environments such as retail, fulfillment centers, or docks is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coach staff, and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and staff scheduling.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate employees; address disciplinary matters as needed.
• Ensure safe, efficient package sortation and adherence to FedEx policies and regulations.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement plans to meet goals.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates to teams and stakeholders.
