Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• 0–3 years in safety or industrial hygiene preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to communicate across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain respiratory protection equipment including training, maintenance, inventory and inspections.
• Manage collection, storage, and off-site disposal of hazardous waste.
• Coordinate and maintain records of personal sampling.
• Inspect waste storage areas and emergency equipment as required.
• Maintain hazardous waste manifests and required records.
• Keep Safety & Environmental Department equipment calibrated and inventory up to date.
• Assist in safety, hazardous materials audits and emergency preparedness activities.
• Transport ergonomic equipment to Baystate facilities as needed.
