Job summary

Gables Search Group invites a hands-on safety and environmental leader to join a multi-building aluminum foundry in Wabash, IN. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will partner with production teams to reduce workplace risks and ensure regulatory compliance across the operation.

You will deliver employee safety training, maintain environmental reporting and SDSs, investigate incidents, drive corrective actions, and keep emergency plans current while promoting safe work habits throughout the

Qualifications

• Hands-on EH&S experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, environmental compliance, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
• Clear communication, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead employee training.

We’re recruiting a hands-on safety and environmental leader for a multi-building aluminum foundry operation located in Wabash, IN. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll partner with production teams and leadership to reduce workplace risks, maintain regulatory compliance, and improve daily safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Keep emergency response plans current and practical.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and production processes, including the ability to operate mobile and stationary equipment.
• Clear communication, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead employee training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Foundry experience is a plus.
• A college degree is preferred but not required.
