Job summary

You will lead training, monitor key safety metrics such as recordable incident rate and near miss reporting, and partner with operations and HR to build a culture of safety as the company scales its food production responsibly.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Food environmental health and safety with experience implementing safety programs meeting regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the site-wide safety program to meet regulatory standards.
• Act as the onsite environmental steward, ensuring compliance with environmental laws and policies.
• Monitor and report on safety metrics such as recordable incident rate, lost time incident rate, and near miss reporting.
• Develop and deliver safety training to foster a proactive safety culture among all employees.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve safety performance and regulatory compliance.
