Frey Consulting Group in Arkansas City, KS is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead site‑level safety and environmental programs at its food and beverage manufacturing facility.

This hands‑on role focuses on workplace safety, regulatory compliance, risk reduction, employee training, and building a practical plant‑floor safety culture. The ideal candidate has 4–5+ years in manufacturing EHS and can work independently on programs and on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on EHS leadership with program ownership.
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regs.
• Able to work 100% onsite in Arkansas City, KS.
• Strong communication with hourly employees and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EHS programs and procedures per OSHA/EPA/DOT.
• Lead safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, corrective actions.
• Manage incident investigations and regulatory reporting.
• Deliver practical EHS training for hourly employees and supervisors.
• Track safety metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain emergency plans and drills.
• Partner with operations, HR, engineering, legal and corporate EHS.
• Support environmental reporting and sustainability initiatives.
