Job summary

MFA Incorporated in Missouri is seeking a SER Technician to maintain and monitor the Safety, Environmental and Regulatory program across facilities in Centralia, MO, Elsberry, MO, and nearby areas. You will train staff, document training, and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.

The role emphasizes field support, inspections of anhydrous ammonia equipment, and accurate record-keeping in the Dekra online system while collaborating with SER Field Staff and the Safety Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Three years' industry experience in agricultural business (preferred).
• Public speaking experience highly desirable.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide New Hire safety training.
• Provide on-going safety training for all existing employees.
• Record training documentation and training log information in the Dekra online system.
• Ensure that all employees within their area receive the required training in a timely manner.
• Assist SER Field Staff in pre-inspections of all Anhydrous Ammonia Equipment.
• Assist DOT Inspectors with VPT documentation when testing is completed.
• Complete annual final inspection of all Anhydrous Ammonia Equipment within a group of MFA facilities.
• Conduct facility walk-through housekeeping inspections.

The employee will also be expected to assist SER Field Specialists and the Safety Coordinator with the implementation, monitoring, and record-keeping of the MFA Anhydrous Ammonia Preventative Maintenance Tracking System. The SER Technician will also train and maintain documentation of training for the personnel within a group of MFA facilities and field staff.
