Job summary

NBCUniversal seeks a Manager, Technical Services (Rides & Attractions) to lead strategic and daily operations for Rides & Attractions within the Technical Services Department. You will provide technical guidance for all attractions, overseeing installation, testing, and maintenance of ride systems and show components.

Required: bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in theme park or theatre operations, plus 3–5 years of leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of day-to-day operation of a theme park, theatre, or related business.
3–5 years of operations management/team leadership experience.
Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Maintains strategic and daily operational plans for Rides & Attractions.
Provides technical guidance for all attractions under area of responsibility.
Coordinates and assigns technicians to set up, install, repair, and maintain equipment.
Maintains a documentation system for all attractions and daily reports.
Ensures safety compliance with USH Policies and local standards.
Mentors technicians and fosters team cohesion within Technical Services.
Oversees communications with engineers, vendors, sub-contractors, and contractors.
Advises senior management on status and engineering quality of ride systems.
Develops action plans for training, workforce planning, and recognition.
