Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager, Technical Services (Rides & Attractions) to lead the Technical Services department for rides and attractions. The role directs technical support for design, production, installation, and testing of ride and show systems, including audio, effects, projection, lighting, and control systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating technicians, maintaining attraction documentation, and ensuring safety and quality standards while collaborating with engineers, vendors,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of day-to-day operation of a theme park, theatre, or related business required.
• 3-5 years of operations management/team leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensures department understands and follows all company policies and procedures.
• Coordinates and assigns technicians to set up, install, repair, and maintain all equipment and venue operations.
• Maintains a documentation system for all attractions and ensures a daily report is completed for all activities performed during their assigned shift.
• Ensures all Ride & Attraction equipment maintains the highest level of safety in accordance with USH Policies, accepted manufacturing practices and local standards.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring as required to Ride & Attraction Technicians within the day-to-day detailed installation, test, and maintenance activities in the field.
