Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is hiring a Safety Engineer to support safety programs across operations, maintenance, logistics, and construction. Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive experience with ESH programs.
• 2 years in an ESH role guiding and directing work activities to ensure safety compliance.
• Proven ability to draft safety policies, procedures and training documents.
• Experience with investigations, root cause analyses and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a safety plan that meets contract requirements.
• Act as primary contact for all safety incidents and maintain case files.
• Conduct incident investigations and report findings with recommended actions.
• Develop and inspect safety and environmental protection plans (JHAs, SDS, fall protection, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures through inspections and training.
