Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Van Buren Township, MI to lead a team of Package Handlers and support the Safety Above All culture. You will oversee daily sortation operations, staff scheduling, coaching, and ensuring adherence to FedEx policies and government regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to analyze performance data to drive improvements while maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in supervision or lead roles in fast-paced environments.
• Certification or related coursework can substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and staff to ensure safe and efficient sortation.
• Hire, coach, evaluate, and manage performance of staff.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control facility operations.
• Analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement actions.
• Mentor and develop junior supervisor staff and coordinate with other departments.
