Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks an Operations Supervisor to champion the Safety Above All culture and oversee day-to-day package sortation with assigned staff. You will manage operations, coach staff, and ensure compliance with FedEx policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance management, and solving operational issues while maintaining calm, effective leadership in a fast-paced facility environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience in package handling or supervisory roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in coaching, training, and performance evaluation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff to ensure safe, efficient package sortation.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate employees; manage discipline and recognition.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct, and control day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with FedEx FXG policies and government regulations.
• Mentor developing Operations Supervisors and adapt to changing needs.
