Responsibilities

• Manage staff including hiring, coaching, training, recognition and performance evaluations.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages; monitor trailers.
• Analyze operational performance and implement improvement plans.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate updates and daily goals; engage staff.
• Develop and administer employee relations and safety strategies.
• Investigate and resolve customer service issues; escalate when needed.
• Train new employees on job duties, policies, and safety procedures.
• Mentor and develop critical skills in other Operations Supervisors.
• Adapt to change and maintain urgency while leading teams.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
