Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse environments.
• Experience with safety programs and government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Manage hiring, coaching, training, recognition and rewards, performance evaluations and discipline.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages and cost control.
• Analyze operational performance and identify improvement opportunities, executing action plans.
• Lead daily staff meetings and communicate updates and goals to teams.
• Develop and administer employee relations and safety strategies.
• Train new employees on duties, performance expectations and FXG policies.
• Mentor and develop less-experienced Operations Supervisors.
• Adapt to change and maintain professionalism while driving results.
