Job summary

Pencco is seeking a Plant Manager in Alabama to oversee all operations at our chemical manufacturing facility. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency while supervising staff and coordinating maintenance, inventories, and rail logistics.

The role demands strong leadership, incident investigation, PPE enforcement, and clear communication with management and customers. You will also drive hiring, onboarding, and alignment with environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong leadership and ability to supervise plant staff.
• Experience with safety training, PPE enforcement, and regulatory compliance.
• Background in chemical manufacturing and maintenance management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transfer, handling, and storage of chemicals and safety programs.
• Manage schedules, payroll timecards, and onboarding for new staff.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate rail operations and material inventories.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and environmental regulations.
• Communicate operational needs to management and customers.
