Job summary

Responsibilities include maintenance of equipment, rail operations, and inventory control, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and experience in manufacturing with a track record of managing teams and improving processes.

Qualifications

• 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• 2 years of management experience.
• Experience supervising plant staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of plant employees handling chemicals.
• Manage employee schedules to meet demand.
• Review and approve timecards for payroll.
• Provide counseling and corrective actions for staff.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding.
• Ensure proper PPE usage and safety standards.
• Conduct biweekly safety training (HAZMAT, emergency response).
• Lead accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee rail handling operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate equipment needs to management.
• Manage raw material inventories and replenishment.
• Maintain maintenance program and vehicle inspections.
• Address customer inquiries promptly.
