Insight Global is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and coordinate safety policies and programs on an assigned project and other sites as needed. The role emphasizes OSHA compliance, safety training, and incident prevention with EMT or higher credentials preferred.

The position requires conducting safety audits, delivering orientations, and managing documentation while collaborating with field personnel, customers, vendors, and contractors to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience, preferably within telecommunications or electrical.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 construction safety regulations.
• Current Authorized OSHA OTI 500 Construction Outreach Trainer status.
• CHST certification or equivalent preferred/required at some sites.
• EMT or higher credentials preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct documented jobsite safety audits and inspections.
• Identify hazards and develop corrective action plans.
• Deliver new-hire safety orientation, OSHA 10/30-hour, and other required safety training.
• Oversee confined-space entry activities and associated documentation/training.
• Conduct root-cause investigations for recordable incidents, near misses, and vehicle incidents.
• Maintain safety records/reports and support OSHA inspections.
• Work closely with field personnel, site management, customers, vendors, and contractors.
