Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and administer safety programs for assigned projects. You will ensure compliance with Site/Customer safety policies and federal and state standards, and develop initiatives to prevent incidents and injuries.

EMT or higher credentials are strongly preferred. Responsibilities include conducting audits, identifying hazards, delivering OSHA 10/30-hour training, overseeing confined-space entry, and investigating root causes of incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 construction safety regulations.
• Current Authorized OSHA OTI 500 Construction Outreach Trainer status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct documented jobsite safety audits and inspections.
• Identify hazards and develop corrective action plans.
• Deliver new-hire safety orientation, OSHA 10/30-hour, and other safety trainings.
• Oversee confined-space entry activities and related documentation.
• Conduct root-cause investigations for recordable incidents and near misses.
• Maintain safety records and support OSHA inspections.
