Job summary

CB&I in Texas seeks a Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver HSES training programs. This role focuses on creating engaging safety curricula, maintaining compliance, and coordinating global training initiatives.

The position reports to the Senior Director HSES and works with Operations, IT and HR to ensure a safe, compliant workplace and effective employee development for a diverse workforce, including English/Spanish speakers.

Qualifications

• Experience with Learning Management Systems to track certifications and tests.
• Ability to design adult-learning-based safety training.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and industry standards.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish communication skills valued in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Create and update training materials for OSHA and site-specific hazards.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual and hands-on safety training sessions.
• Administer LMS and track certifications to ensure compliance.
• Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and identify training gaps.
