Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Denton seeks a Safety Supervisor to lead day-to-day health, safety and environmental efforts at the facility. The role includes coaching staff, implementing risk controls, and ensuring compliance with safety programs and statutory requirements.

You will drive safety training, incident investigation, and KPI reporting, partnering with site leadership to sustain loss-prevention and high-quality safety performance.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• Prior experience in safety observations/inspections, developing and implementing compliance strategies and plans.
• Knowledge of safety and health management systems and practices.
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HSE policies and procedures for the facility.
• Ensure safety and security of site operations and staff.
• Maintain safety metrics and compliance with DSV Safety Programs.
• Develop and implement risk assessments and safety training.
• Coordinate with regulators (OSHA, EPA, DOT) as needed.
• Audit safety programs and drive continuous improvement.
