Green Bay Packaging AKD in Arkansas seeks a Safety Professional to plan, implement, and audit safety and occupational health programs across the mill. Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will promote a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes developing training materials, incident investigations, and coordinating with Safety Champions to improve working conditions and housekeeping across all shifts.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field; experience may substitute.
• Minimum of 3 years in occupational safety and health.
• Preferred certifications: ASP, CSP, OHST.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain safety programs compliant with federal, state, and GBP requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Corp Safety Audit Program elements.
• Lead safety initiatives and training across mill operations.
• Investigate accidents and track corrective actions.
• Provide training for First Responder, EMT, Fire Brigade, and Confined Space.
• Maintain PPE provision and equipment readiness for AKD employees and contractors.
