Job summary

Omni Air International (OAI) in Tulsa, OK seeks a Safety Coordinator who serves as a resource to the office of the Director of Safety. The role coordinates Safety Programs, Security Programs, Technical Publications, and SMS Interfaces to keep operations safe and compliant.

You will prepare safety information, support investigations, and help maintain SMS processes and policies, while communicating across departments and ensuring timely, accurate safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop safety communication processes for SMS policies and tools.
• Prepare safety information for employee responsibilities.
• Provide narrative summaries of investigations and analyses for SMS management.
• Research topics for SMS improvement, hazard identification and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate interdepartmental communications for consistent information flow.
• Ensure recurring SMS outputs are efficient, timely.
• Assist departments in documenting policies, processes, and procedures.
• Contribute to the management of technical publications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
