Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead in our Indiana facility to coach and train warehouse associates while handling daily leadership duties. You will back up the supervisor and contribute to safe, efficient operations across shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehousing tasks.

Responsibilities include conducting PIT training, performing observations, and ensuring compliance with DOT, IATA, IMDG, and other regulations while supporting continuous improvement and strong team

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; ability to pass background and drug screen.
Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
6 months of leadership or supervisory experience or training in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

Train warehouse staff and forklift drivers; conduct PIT and annual recertification.
Perform safety and performance observations; ensure regulatory compliance.
Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
Complete shipping/receiving paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Participate in cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
Perform daily safety inspections on forklift equipment.
