Job summary

Eurest, a Compass Group company, seeks a Safety Manager to provide strategic leadership for health, safety, and environmental compliance across the organization. You will train staff, implement safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and promote a proactive safety culture with a focus on reducing claims and injuries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety management and compliance experience
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local health department requirements
• Experience conducting risk assessments, job hazard analyses, incident investigations, and corrective actions
• Strong background in workers' compensation management and multi-site support
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging safety training programs

Responsibilities

• Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across the organization.
• Lead incident investigations and reporting; ensure timely regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and policies.
• Train staff and management on safety standards and best practices.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous safety improvements.
• Provide safety and workers' compensation support to local units to reduce claims.
