Service Steel Aerospace is seeking a Safety Coordinator for our Santa Fe Springs, CA facility. You will implement and maintain health and safety programs, promoting a culture of safety and regulatory compliance across steel processing, warehouse, and fleet operations.

You will work with management, supervisors, and contractors to identify hazards and drive corrective actions. Responsibilities include investigations of incidents, safety training, inspections, and ensuring Cal/OSHA, OSHA, and

Formación

• Experience applying OSHA/Cal/OSHA and FMCSA requirements.
• Training credentials in OSHA-30, forklift/trainer certs, first aid.
• Ability to lead safety investigations and trainings.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA/Cal/OSHA and FMCSA.
• Conduct facility inspections, JHAs, and safety audits across operations.
• Ensure understanding of steel distribution center operations and equipment safety.
• Lead accident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee safety trainings.
• Monitor contractor safety compliance on company property.
