Job summary

FXI is seeking an EHS Coordinator/Trainer to oversee safety metrics, training programs, and regulatory compliance at our Santa Teresa, NM facility. You will manage safety records, coordinate training, and support incident investigations and audits, reporting to the Regional EHS manager.

This role requires MS Office proficiency, strong communication, and flexibility to work with various shifts and teams across departments.

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in both small and large group settings and with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain spreadsheet documenting daily employee earned safety points and redemption.
• Post relevant documentation weekly in break room.
• Answer employee queries regarding point spreadsheet.
• Maintain spreadsheet documenting weekly safety training for all departments.
• Send monthly email notifications to plant manager about departments not meeting requirements.
• Maintain spreadsheet documenting Near Miss/Hazard reports and resolutions.
• Follow up on open NM/HC with responsible party.
• Create weekly and monthly reports.
• Create and maintain filing systems for all EHS training records.
• Reformat Word documents and PowerPoint presentations.
• Maintain MSDS records and keep books current.
• Maintain accident and first aid incident files.
• Report progress toward safety metrics to Regional EHS manager twice monthly.
• Convert JHA/LOTO/SOP/SWP documents to new format and post for review.
