Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, safety management or related field; six years of related progressive experience if no degree.
• Eight years of related experience; four years of related safety experience preferred.
• Leadership and instruction capabilities.
• Clear communication in writing and speaking.
• Short-term/project management planning to coordinate projects.
• Demonstrated auditing skills.
• Ability to interpret safety regulations and ensure compliance.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and improve the internal mock OSHA assessment program with site visits, deficiencies documentation, remediation schedules and follow-up inspections (40%).
• Complete all safety incident investigations for injuries, vehicle accidents and contractor incidents including root cause analysis.
• Maintain safety programs to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
• Analyze data from 1st Reporting forms to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned (0-5%).
