Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, audits, and investigations at our Detroit, MI facilities. You will champion safety culture, partner with leaders, and drive improvements to protect associates and operations.

The role emphasizes data-driven safety strategies, training delivery, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain a safest-workplace standard across sites.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related background OR 6 months experience in a safety-related role within Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.
