Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to advance safety culture and protect associates across delivery stations. You will lead audits, investigations, and risk assessments while delivering engaging training and promoting continuous safety improvements.

The role requires collaborating with frontline teams and leadership to ensure best practices, with flexibility for shifts and emergency response support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year in an EHS-related field OR a Bachelor’s degree in EHS-relevant background OR 6 months experience in a safety role at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matter involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs through data-driven strategies and conduct audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training to associates and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and build partnerships across the organization.
• Analyze safety data and write narratives to drive engagement in safety initiatives.
• Assist emergency response and maintain safe operations during incidents.
