Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, audits, investigations, and risk assessments at our Katy, Texas site. You will deliver engaging safety training to promote a proactive culture and protect employees.

This role requires OSHA knowledge, EHS experience, and the ability to translate data into improvements. You will collaborate with frontline teams and leadership to implement best practices, respond to emergencies, and support

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 year in an EHS-related field or a bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related background or 6 months Amazon safety experience.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personal issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

Drive safety programs through data-driven strategies and lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
Champion associate wellbeing and advocate for safety through communication, coaching, and leadership partnerships.
Lead and participate in safety training, continuous improvement initiatives, and development of safety best practices.
