Job summary

Crane Cartage LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Compliance professional to ensure adherence to laws and regulations across company and vendors. You will monitor activities, revise safety policies, and implement training programs and safety procedures.

The role includes conducting audits and driving corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3+ years of experience; certifications may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all laws and regulations are followed, making recommendations for compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Continuously monitors and evaluates activities related to marketing and execution of processes.

Job description

  • Ensures all laws and regulations are followed, making recommendations in order for company and vendors to be in compliance with local, state, federal, etc. laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Continuously monitors and evaluates activities associated with marketing and execution of processes
  • Revises and implements various administrative policies and procedures including safety forms and report formats
  • Develops and implement safety programs and training activities for company employees as needed
  • Develops safety procedures, plans, permits, and reports
  • Performs compliance audits and implements follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Other duties as required

Education & Experience

  • Job requires the ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen.
