Safety Management Group in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Safety Advisor - Owner's Rep to oversee safety programs on pharmaceutical site projects. The role focuses on aligning client needs with robust safety practices on site.

You will conduct contractor safety assessments, review policies and JHAs, and collaborate with general contractors to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety requirements. Excellent communication, self-management, and adaptability are essential as the team delivers

Qualifications

• Seven-plus years of safety experience.
• Five-plus years of construction experience.
• GMP experience is preferred.
• A degree in Safety or related fields is preferred.
• Background in Pharmaceuticals is a plus.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course.

Responsabilités

• Conduct an assessment of the contractor safety program and related policies to identify potential gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide site safety coverage for both construction and general industry work taking place in a pharmaceutical environment.
• In-depth review of Contractor Safety policies, permits, and JHA practices.
• Benchmark with other organizations/clients to identify best practices that will support the development of a stronger Contractor Management System.
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and contractors to support open communication during project execution.
• Partner with all General Contractors and Project Teams to help ensure proper implementation and local/State/Federal safety requirements.
• Conduct safety observations and verify appropriate corrective actions are established by GC to correct all unsafe conditions or practices.
• Keep stakeholders informed of the safety performance of the contractors working on the project.
• Review Job Hazard Analysis and project-specific safety plans and support the identification of safety hazards.

SMG seeks a Safety Advisor - Owner's Rep in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The key function of a Safety Advisor is to put safety at the forefront of their job, prioritize the client’s needs, work well in a team setting, be self-managed, and be flexible when it comes to change.

Additional Information

• SMG full-time, benefitted Associates are eligible for Premium Pay after working 40 billable hours for the week. Premium pay is at a 1.35 multiplier.
• Annual pay/merit review/increase.
