Job summary

Safety Management Group is seeking a Safety Advisor – Construction to join the Insights Team, covering Central Indiana. The role focuses on prioritizing client safety, auditing construction sites, delivering trainings, and managing safety programs across multiple clients.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in construction safety, relevant certifications, and a willingness to travel to various client sites throughout Indiana. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Four plus years of construction safety experience.
• A degree in safety or related fields is preferred.
• CSP, CHST, STS-C is preferred but not required.
• Experience reviewing safety programs.
• Experience providing training and site audits.
• First-aid/CPR certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
• OSHA 30-hr Construction
• OSHA 510 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Site safety observations, including documentation of findings.
• Safety program review/development.
• Visit Construction clients to perform site audits and assessments.
• Provide training.
• Administer Safety Partner Program to multiple clients.
• Verify compliance with safety policies and procedures as required by law, the Owner, and contractors.

SMG seeks a Safety Advisor – Construction for our Insights Team - in Central Indiana.

The key function of a Safety Advisor is to put safety at the forefront of their job, prioritize the client’s needs, work well in a team setting, be self-managed, and be flexible when it comes to change and travel. The Associate in this role will work in a construction environment. This person will travel to different client sites throughout the state of Indiana.

Overview Of Job Responsibilities

Additional Information

• SMG full-time, benefitted Associates are eligible for Premium Pay after working 40 billable hours for the week. Premium pay is at a 1.35 multiplier.
• Eligible to receive all SMG Benefits.
• Annual pay/merit review/increase.
