Job summary

Raft in Colorado Springs is seeking a Product Owner to lead SAFe-based development of mission-critical cybersecurity and data solutions. You will own the product backlog, drive PI planning, balance strategy with execution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior DoD stakeholders.

The role requires 15+ years in program or product management, strong communication, and proven ability to write clear user stories and epics; on-site work; active Secret clearance with ability to obtain

Qualifications

• 15+ years in program, project, or product management with SAFe/Scrum experience.
• Ability to write detailed user stories and epics with user empathy.
• Experience defining product functionality and prioritizing backlog.
• Strong communication with technical teams and senior DoD stakeholders.
• Proven track record delivering acceptance criteria with quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog for PI Planning and shape the roadmap.
• Balance execution with strategy; align with program leadership.
• Gather, validate requirements and drive data-informed decisions.
• Manage delivery execution and ensure alignment with mission goals.
