Job summary

Akua Mind Body is seeking a Territory Manager to own and grow a Sacramento territory, focusing on developing referral partnerships and expanding market presence. The role emphasizes field-based outreach, relationship-building with hospitals, providers, and clinicians, and driving admissions growth within the community.

Ideal candidates bring strong recovery-community ties, exceptional communication, and a proven track record in business development or account management.

Qualifications

• Must currently live within the Sacramento area and be able to travel throughout the assigned territory daily.
• Strong connection to the recovery community and understanding of the recovery process.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage referral relationships throughout the Sacramento region.
• Develop and expand referral partnerships with hospitals, treatment providers, clinicians, and healthcare organizations.
• Educate referral partners on Akua's programs and services.
• Create and execute territory growth strategies.
• Attend networking events and community meetings.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Clinical teams to support client placement.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity and referral documentation.
• Meet and exceed outreach activity and performance goals.
• Represent Akua professionally within the community.
