Mutual Housing California seeks a dedicated Community Organizer in Sacramento to support residents and neighborhoods. You will identify priorities, build leadership, and strengthen community participation to improve safety, wellbeing, and belonging.

Formación

• Experience working in diverse, low-income communities is preferred.
• Fluency in a second language (Spanish, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Tagalog or Russian) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willing to complete mandated reporter training.
• Passes background checks and has reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead resident leadership development and power-building efforts for Sacramento communities.
• Plan and host resident meetings, workshops, and events with a focus on inclusivity.
• Build partnerships with community groups, coalitions, and public agencies.
• Enter program data into Salesforce and assist with monthly and quarterly reports.
