Mutual Housing California is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to help connect residents with housing stability and community services in Lemon Hill/Sky Park, Sacramento. You will deliver direct support and coordinate with the property team to empower residents in low‑income neighborhoods.

The role demands strong communication, empathy, and the ability to engage diverse residents while building leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in social services (property‑based experience a plus).
• Proficiency in Cantonese, Vietnamese or Mandarin is required.
• Cultural competency and experience working in diverse, low‑income communities
• Strong communication, judgment, and relationship‑building skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills; CPR/First Aid & food safety certs (provided)

Responsibilities

• Support residents with housing stability, public benefits, budgeting, and referrals
• Provide mediation, crisis support, and coordination with Property Management
• Build relationships with residents and host community‑building activities
• Connect residents with local programs, services, and leadership opportunities
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and service plans
