Mutual Housing seeks a dedicated Community Organizer to support residents and neighborhoods across multiple MHC sites in California. The role emphasizes leadership development, community engagement, and partnership-building to create equitable, sustainable housing where residents lead positive change.

The position is full-time, based on-site in California, with typical hours Monday–Friday. Compensation starts at $26.50 per hour, with a strong benefits package including Kaiser medical coverage

Qualificações

• Must be able to perform essential duties with a focus on resident leadership and community empowerment.
• High school diploma or GED required; experience in diverse, low-income communities preferred.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
• Background checks and mandated reporter training may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop resident leadership and strengthen community power in Sacramento.
• Coordinate meetings, trainings, events, and volunteer activities.
• Collaborate with Partners, Property Management, and Communications teams to center residents.
• Enter data and assist with program reports and evaluations.
