St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Parish in Southwest Miami, Florida is seeking a full-time Sacramental Coordinator and Religious Education Assistant.

The role coordinates baptisms, marriages, funerals, sacramental records, and liturgical preparations while supporting Religious Education programs in alignment with the Archdiocese of Miami. The position involves collaboration with clergy, parish staff, families, and the CRE to ensure accurate records and meaningful faith formation activities,

Qualifications

• Practicing Catholic with knowledge of Catholic liturgy.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work with families during life events.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate baptisms, including inquiries, registrations, documentation, and celebrations.
• Coordinate funerals: dates, times, liturgical details, and related events.
• Assist with marriages: ceremonies, binders, liturgical materials, and records.
• Prepare liturgical materials and worship folders for Sundays and Holy Days.
• Maintain sacramental records, certificates, and confidentiality.
• Support Religious Education and OCIA activities with administration and communications.
