Job summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) seeks a Technology Sourcing Specialist with a strong background in SaaS strategy and negotiations for a CONTRACT assignment.

This role requires EST/CST availability and aligning with a global team on early calls. You will leverage deep software, cloud, and IT services knowledge to craft sourcing strategies, lead negotiations, and partner with legal, procurement, and category managers to finalize contracts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a professional business environment with at least 5 years of relevant Technology Sourcing experience.
• Deep Strategic Sourcing knowledge across multiple standard indirect/ tech categories.
• Expertise in Sourcing Steps and Processes and related cost/analysis methods.
• Procurement transformation experience is highly valued.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and manage multiple priorities.
• Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint; advanced academic credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leverage deep expertise across software, cloud, and IT services to co-create sourcing strategies with stakeholders.
• Deliver software sourcing strategies using core techniques and appropriate RFP/RFQ approaches.
• Drive syndicated negotiation strategies to achieve optimum outcomes.
• Prepare and syndicate Business Award Recommendations with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Category Leaders, Legal, and Purchasing to deliver auditable sourcing experiences.
• Build relationships with regional managers to ensure a consistent sourcing experience.
• Contribute to global Responsible Sourcing vision and the Make responsible buying easy transformation.
• Develop and implement world-class sourcing processes, KPIs, and governance models.
