Job summary

Jobtailor in Apex, NC, seeks a Technical Account Manager to act as a technical advisor and solution designer during delivery and ongoing maintenance of customer accounts.

You will partner with Sales and TechOps to align deployments with business needs, manage cloud operations, and ensure compliant SaaS upgrades across global teams.

The role requires strong project management, containerization expertise, GMP experience, and excellent coordination across time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, capacity planning, and task scheduling.
• Experience with Jira and ServiceNow.
• Expert understanding of containerization, AWS, Azure and SaaS.
• Expertise in regulated environments (e.g., GMP).
• Strong API and software integrations background.
• Knowledge of MES and/or PAS-X preferred.
• Ability to coordinate projects across multiple levels.
• Collaborative, inclusion-driven team player with global time-zone experience.
• Experience with knowledge management.
• Understanding of software release processes and SaaS deployments.
• IT knowledge: Linux, TCP/IP, VPN, Routing, Firewall.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical advisor and solution designer during project implementation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with sales to align technical capabilities with customer requirements.
• Work with TechOps on cloud operations, deployment, and SaaS development across levels.
• Ensure n-1 release compliance and manage deployment/upgrade schedules.
• Coordinate with project delivery and sales to ensure timely customer deployments.
• Align resources to customer requests and internal prioritization.
• Maintain version history and planning for cloud installations and upgrades.
• Track time on service requests, installations, and customer support for stakeholders.
• Support project orgs in submitting completeness of service requests.
• Ensure team members are aware of scheduled items and can complete them.
