Job summary
RuralMetro Fire is seeking an IT Applications Support Specialist to deliver Level 2 support for enterprise SaaS and cloud applications used by fire service and field operations. You will troubleshoot issues, assist with integrations, access management, and document repeatable processes across a distributed organization.
You will partner with IT, vendors, and application owners to ensure availability, security, and governance, while learning new systems quickly and taking ownership of incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, GIS, or related field.
- 1+ year of experience in application support or SaaS administration.
- Experience with enterprise cloud SaaS platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving to isolate issues across apps, identity, integrations, data, devices, and networks.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar applications and operational workflows quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for SaaS and cloud applications; act as escalation point for complex issues.
- Troubleshoot errors, access issues, workflow failures, and integration concerns.
- Own incidents and requests through resolution or proper escalation.
