Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a SaaS Administrator to oversee governance, security, and escalation for enterprise AI and collaboration platforms. This remote US role requires CST hours and supports Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, and Microsoft 365 environments.

The position emphasizes governance, incident triage, and tooling integration, with a 12-month contract-to-hire path. Candidates should have deep SaaS administration experience and strong scripting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years administering enterprise SaaS platforms in a regulated or large-enterprise environment, including at least two years as a named Level 2 escalation owner.
• Hands-on administration experience in a Microsoft 365 tenant, including the Microsoft 365 admin center, licensing and service plan assignment, and integrated app or add-in governance.
• Working knowledge of enterprise single sign-on and SCIM provisioning concepts sufficient to triage access failures accurately and partner effectively with IAM, without owning identity provider configuration.
• Demonstrated experience applying least-privilege principles to platform settings and integrations, and operating within formal change control.
• Working experience in an ITSM platform (ServiceNow preferred) across incident, request, problem, and knowledge management, operating to defined service levels.
• Ability to interpret audit logs and administrative analytics, use REST APIs for administrative tasks, and write or adapt basic scripts (PowerShell or Python).
• Command-line and terminal proficiency sufficient to support developer tooling installation and authentication across Windows, macOS, and Linux/WSL.
• Strong technical writing skills, with a track record of producing runbooks, knowledge articles, and operating policies that reduce escalation volume.

Responsibilities

• Governance, compliance, and audit across platforms including Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, and 365 governance.
• Triage access/authentication failures; partner with IAM to resolve provisioning and entitlement gaps.
• Troubleshoot enterprise AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) including client and workspace issues.
• Maintain Level 1/2/vender escalation models and runbooks to reduce escalations.
• Produce adoption reporting and monthly/quarterly leadership updates.
• Enable and support change control, with clear guidance on platform usage and licensing.
