Job summary

Spreedly is seeking a Controller to lead our accounting function and scale the finance operations. You will own the books, drive close processes, and partner with FP&A and cross-functional leaders to support growth.

In this role, you will modernize systems, implement automation and AI-enabled workflows, and ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition compliance for usage-based contracts. This is a high-impact, autonomous leadership position.

Qualifications

• Active CPA certification and accounting leadership experience.
• Experience owning a broad accounting function across multiple areas.
• SaaS accounting experience with usage-based or ARR models.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function with timely, accurate close.
• Oversee financial statements, AR, AP, payroll, revenue recognition, tax, and audit.
• Own and modernize the accounting systems stack (NetSuite, Orb, Ramp) and automate processes.
