Job summary

Vertical Insure is seeking a Client Development Representative in Minneapolis, MN. You will generate new business opportunities, engage prospects, and work with sales leadership to build account strategies in a hybrid, high-growth environment.

You will maintain the sales pipeline in HubSpot, gather customer feedback, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional client experiences while expanding embedded insurance solutions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer success, preferably in B2B SaaS, technology, fintech, or insurance.
• Strong prospecting and lead qualification skills with a consultative sales approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility quickly.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities by identifying, researching, and engaging prospective SaaS platform partners and end users.
• Engage prospects with purpose by understanding their business needs and delivering a consultative buying experience.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to develop account strategies and ensure seamless handoffs.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by updating activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM.
• Be the voice of the customer by gathering feedback and market insights to shape product improvements.
• Contribute to a high-performing team by sharing best practices and continuously developing selling skills.
