Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in SaaS or tech environments.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP; experience with business combinations a plus.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting software; NetSuite preferred.
• A process-improvement mindset—you don't just do the work, you ask how it could be done better and make it happen.
• Ability to thrive in a small team where you wear multiple hats and operate with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting and analytics.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy across all accounts.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
• Support sales tax filings, annual reports and other compliance obligations.
• Own expense reporting, corporate credit cards, and accounts payable; serve as the primary system administrator for related third-party software.
• Support annual audits working with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Prepare financial schedules and supporting analysis.
• Work with internal partners on vendor management.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements that increase accuracy, reduce manual intervention, reduce close timeline and enhance reporting.
